This paper covers a range of topics including the increasing use of self assessment as a means of tax administration, the growth of electronic services in tax administration, the Ministerial review of State taxes required in 2005 under the Inter-governmental Agreement on Commonwealth/State Financial Relations, and a range of other topics.
Bill is the Western Australian Commissioner of State Revenue and a member of the Department of Treasury and Finance Corporate Executive. Prior to being appointed in 2002, Bill spent seven years in the revenue policy area of the Western Australian Treasury
followed by nine years heading up the Policy & Legislation Division of the WA Office of State Revenue. Current at 29 July 2004
