GST has now been with us for over three years and many of the big-ticket items have been resolved or at least well documented.
This seminar paper provides an explanation of some of the issues that continue to provide problems in the course of practice.
Todd is a senior manager with KPMG, specialising in indirect taxes, and has worked with major accounting and legal firms for six years, predominantly in relation to GST, stamp duty and payroll tax. Todd has been involved in advising clients, including
government and national clients, in relation to significant GST and property issues such as the transitional provisions and the process of implementing GST systems for large rent rolls (both for lessor and lessee), applying the going concern exemption and the margin scheme concession to significant property transactions and has also worked with clients in applying the new residential premises rules to major urban
