Stamp Duty Rewrite - Duties Act 2001

The draft Duties Act 2001 will soon replace the existing Stamp Act 1894. This paper considers a number of practical issues which practitioners will need to consider in advising on business transactions and re-organisations. This paper also addresses some of the transitional issues requiring careful planning.
