Author profile:

Justice John LOGAN
was appointed to the Federal Court of Australia in September 2007. He holds additional commissions as Deputy President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal. In 2011, he was also appointed by Papua New Guinea, with the permission of the Australian Government, as a judge of the Supreme and National Courts of that country. He was re-appointed in 2014 for a further three-year term as a judge of those courts. In 1993, Justice Logan was awarded the Reserve Force Decoration (RFD) in respect of his service as an officer in the Australian Intelligence Corps in the Army Reserve.
