Third in a series of three papers dealing with issues that should be considered by tax practitioners in June 2000. Focuses on selected issues that may affect individuals and superannuation.
Rick graduated from UWA in 1987 with a Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to joining Barrington Partners in 1993 Rick worked with the Australian Taxation Office and in the Taxation Division of a “Big Four” firm. Rick became a Partner in 1997 and provides tax and business advice to a diverse range of clients. As a practice Barrington’s lodge approximately 3,000 tax returns per year. Rick is a Fellow of the Tax Institute, sitting on the Education Committee. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
