Alison is a director in KPMG's Indirect Tax group and has more than 15 years experience in advising on GST/VAT. Alison advises Australian and multinational clients in financial services and technology industries on domestic and cross-border GST issues. She regularly advises on the application of Australian GST to the digital economy, including transactions and contractual arrangements involving apps, e-books, data hosting, use of servers, software and webhosting services. Tim has been with KPMG for about 16 years, having worked in Auckland, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane across a wide variety of sectors and private and public groups. Tim specialises in providing corporate tax advisory services to privately owned companies and listed clients. Tim provides M&A, tax due diligence, tax structuring and funding advice to clients and has significant experience in working with clients in attracting external capital to facilitate growth or the divestment of existing stakeholders.
