Kerrie is a senior associate with Blake Dawson Waldron. She specialises in taxation and corporate advisory. Her principal areas of practice are corporate taxation, fringe benefits tax, GST, capital gains tax and international taxation. Kerrie has recently provided advice on various transactions in relation to capital gains tax, income tax and GST. Kerrie has also advised on various corporate acquisitions and restructures. She is a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia's Education Committee (Queensland Branch) and has also presented for the Taxation Institute of Australia and LAAMs. Current at 24 May 2004

Suzanne is a senior associate in the corporate group in the Brisbane office of Blake Dawson Waldron. Her expertise lies primarily in the area of stamp duty law, with her present areas or practice also including corporate and business reorganisations and the provision of general corporate and commercial advice. Recent matters include providing advice on stamp duty issues arising out of tender documents for a significant Government PPP Project, providing input on suitable acquisition structures and strategies to minimise stamp duty on business acquisitions, and applying for stamp duty relief for a number of corporate reorganisations. Suzanne has made numerous presentations on stamp duty and GST, including seminars arranged by the Taxation Institute of Australia and the Queensland Law Society. Current at 24 May 2004

Chris Davis, CTA, a Principal of McInnes Wilson Lawyers' Revenue, Structuring and Succession Group, has been involved in advising clients on Div 7A and associated matters in a variety of contexts, with a particular focus on the SME market.
