Albert HAAK
Albert from Albert Haak & Associates, has extensive 'hands on' expertise in the development and management of agricultural industries. He graduated from the Agricultural Engineering Department of the University of Natal in 1973 and from the School of Business Leadership, University of South Africa in 1980. He gained production and management experience from six years in the sugar industry, where the slim profit margins demanded ingenuity, high levels of efficiency and tight cost control. He has 20 years experience in the wine industry, initially as a design and research engineer at the Wine Research Institute in Stellenbosch. In 1985 he immigrated to WA where he and his wife, Bridget, provided the vision, design, development and management of Amberley Estate. Albert Haak & Associates has provided a vineyard benchmark service to clients in WA over a period of seven years.
