Player management fee deductions: The scores at quarter time

The age old High Court decision of Maddalena denies professional employee sportspersons a tax deduction for Player Management fees even though nearly every player in the AFL and NRL has a player manager. Gordon J’s decision in Riddell v FCT & Spriggs v FCT is the first step towards making Player Management fees a deduction.
