Tax cases: Court reconsiders charitable nature of commercial operation

On 14 November 2007 the Full Federal Court handed down its decision in the case of Commissioner of Taxation v Word Investments Ltd, where it reconsidered the charitable status of an organisation that had raised funds though a commercial enterprise for a charitable purpose.
