Peter O'Reilly
Peter is Assistant Commissioner, Public Groups and International (PG&I). Peter is the National PG&I Insurance and Superannuation Strategy Leader, he leads PG& I Compliance Operations at Parramatta and Newcastle, and is the Site Leader for PG&I at Parramatta. Peter is responsible for life insurance, general insurance and large superannuation funds income tax compliance including strategy and operations. He has also had extensive involvement in dealing with issues in the Managed investment trust industry and has represented the ATO on several Board of Taxation Reviews relevant to the financial services industry. His responsibilities for Compliance Operations at the Parramatta and Newcastle sites covers the full spectrum of public group issues, multinational and domestic tax risks, compliance, client engagement, assurance and relationship management. - Current at 19 September 2016James O'HALLORAN
James O’Halloran, has national responsibility for the administration and compliance activities for the Goods and Services Tax and Excise, and other indirect taxes. Prior to this role James was Deputy Commissioner, Tax Practitioner and Lodgment Strategy with accountabilities for the ATO’s services and relationship with tax practitioners, lodgement compliance and the cash economy. James joined the Australian Taxation Office in 1999. He has held a number of senior executive roles including the oversight the ATO compliance program and compliance programs for Excise and the Goods and Services Tax. Current at 28 May 2012
