Anthony Fitzgerald
Anthony is Head of Indirect Tax at ANZ Banking Group. He is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in indirect tax in the financial services industry. Anthony has over 20 years experience in indirect tax having previously held positions at NAB, as a partner at a boutique indirect tax practice in Melbourne and at PwC. Anthony has led bankwide apportionment reviews, advises on a range of complex transactions and regularly interacts with senior members of the ATO. Anthony is also a key contributor to the indirect tax working committees of relevant industry associations in addressing various issues currently facing the financial services industry. - Current at 30 September 2019

Hoa Wood
Hoa is Deputy Chief Tax Counsel in the Australian Taxation Office Tax Counsel Network. Hoa Wood has over 20 years’ experience in tax administration both in ATO and at the Treasury. In Hoa’s current role, she provides technical and strategic guidance on many of the ATO’s highest profile and most complex technical issues, proposed legislative amendments and Federal and High Court litigation matters. Hoa works with her national teams in the Tax Counsel Network that have a focus on indirect taxes, superannuation and employer obligations. - Current at 26 June 2019
