Debbie leads the ATO’s approach to dispute management and dispute resolution (including ADR) as well as litigation services and legal risk for the ATO. She is also responsible for independent review of large business audits, as well as managing large market objections. Debbie is a graduate of University of Sydney with a Bachelor in Economics and Bachelor of Law. She has led strategic litigation matters in the AAT, Federal Court and High Court and has also been a member of the General Anti-Avoidance Panel and Public Rulings Panel. Current at 02 June 2015

Sue leads EY's Melbourne Tax Controversy practice. She has acted in various AAT, Federal Court, High Court and Supreme Court cases relating to various Commonwealth and state taxes, and has advised clients on a broad range of taxation issues including income tax, GST and PRRT. Sue is also an accredited mediator and has assisted clients in resolving disputes using various alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Sue is a member of the ATO Dispute Resolution Committee and is a former president of The Tax Institute.
