This video is a filmed session from Vic 3rd Annual Tax Forum, PowerPoint slides are incorporated with the presentation.

It is not often that a superannuation tax partner moves directly into a CFO role. This video considers the challenges and opportunities for a tax adviser from a CFO’s perspective including:

  • what is it like going from a tax adviser to a tax user?
  • what are the real tax expectations of a board, and the audit and investment committees?
  • tips and traps for a fund’s tax adviser
  • whether the tax issues are any different for a large multi-employer public offer fund compared to an SMSF.
