Superannuation fund choice

Source: New South Wales

Published Date: 7 Apr 2005

After all the hype it is really here - superannuation fund choice will become a reality on 1 July 2005 and it will affect every business with employees. While the new regime need not be onerous for your clients (or even within your own practice), there will be some important steps to be aware of.

This presentation outlines the legislative requirements:

  • what are the employer's obligations?
  • what are the relevant timeframes?
  • as well as providing some practical compliance tips and assistance.

As always, much of the important detail is in the regulations, which are still being finalised. This presentation provides an update on the most recent developments and alerts you to any matters that have still not been resolved.
