Auto-renewal Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Auto-Renew Checkout:

  1. Membership Subscription Duration: By becoming a member or renewing an existing membership with a 12-month membership subscription, you will be granted membership of The Tax Institute for the duration of 12 consecutive months from the date of activation or renewal.
  2. Auto-Renewal: Your membership will automatically renew at the end of the 12-month period unless you choose to cancel it before the renewal date. If you cancel your membership before the end of the 12-month period, you will still be able to access your member benefits until the end of that period. Membership of The Tax Institute including access to exclusive member benefits will cease at the end of the 12-month period where your membership has been cancelled at any time prior and is not renewed.   3. Payment Reminder: You will receive a payment reminder 30 days prior to the renewal date. This reminder serves as a notification to prepare for the upcoming payment for the following membership period, and allows ample time for any necessary adjustments to be made.
  4. Payment Method: By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable membership fee to your chosen payment method upon renewal. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information is accurate and up-to-date to prevent any payment processing issues.
  5. Cancellation Policy: Should you wish to cancel your membership and/or opt out of the auto-renewal feature, you must do so before the renewal date. Failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in the automatic renewal of your membership for another 12-month period, and the associated fees will be charged accordingly.
  6. Refund Policy: The Tax Institute reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any product or program advertised for publication and sale. Payments for membership, whether processed manually or on an auto-renewal basis, are final. The Tax Institute cannot take responsibility for a customer's change of mind and refunds will not be agreed based on a change of mind. Refunds can only be issued using the same method of purchase and are at the discretion of The Tax Institute. Nothing in these terms abrogates any guarantees afforded to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
