The Tax Institute and the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia (Joint Bodies) are pleased to have the opportunity to make a submission to the Treasury inrelation to the Reform to deductions for education expenses Discussion Paper (Discussion Paper) that proposes to impose a $2,000 cap on deductions for lossesand outgoings incurred in relation to education.
