Troubleshooting your Tax Knowledge Exchange

Having trouble accessing your Tax Knowledge Exchange subscription? Follow the steps below for your favoured browser.

 

When you access the web, your browser saves information from websites in its cache and cookies. Sometimes, when you're experiencing some problems, like loading or formatting issues, opening the page in a private browser window or clearing your cache and cookies can help. Here's how.

NOTE: when you clear your cache and cookies you will be logged out of any websites you have visited and will be required to enter your password again to log back in. You will also need to login to our site again when you open the page in a private browser window.

  1. Open Google Chrome browser.
  2. At the top right, click the 3 vertical dots. Open a new Incognito window.
  3. Enter resources.taxinstitute.com.au in the URL bar of your Incognito window.

Clear your cache & cookies

  1. Open Google Chrome browser.
  2. At the top right, click click the 3 vertical dots.
  3. Click 'More tools' and then 'Clear browsing data'.
  4. Choose a time range. To delete everything, select 'All time'. We suggest clearing at least the past 7 days.
  5. Check the boxes next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
  6. Click 'Clear data'.
  7. Go to resources.taxinstitute.com.au.

Clear your cache & cookies

  1. Open Microsfot Edge browser.
  2. At the top right, click click the 3 vertical dots.
  3. Click 'Settings'.
  4. When the settings menu opens, select 'Privacy, search, and services' from the left side menu.
  5. Under the heading 'Clear browsing data' click on 'Choose what to clear'.
  6. Choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. We suggest clearing at least the past 7 days.
  7. Check the boxes next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
  8. Click 'Clear now'.
  9. Go to resources.taxinstitute.com.au.

  6. Click OK
