Vanessa is a lawyer, and lecturer at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She teaches and researches in property, tax, and also climate change, and is particularly interested in carbon pricing, and environmental taxation. Before joining Monash, she worked for over 8 years in private practice in small and mid-tier law firms, advising clients on property, and property-related tax matters. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (Hons), Master of Commercial Law, and a PhD in the law of climate change.
