The State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) was established in Western Australia in 2005 as an independent body that makes and reviews a range of administrative decisions. The SAT's approach is informal, flexible and transparent. Its jurisdiction covers over 130 different Acts of Parliament and is of particular interest to those who advise in the field of taxation in Western Australia.
