In order to be able to prepare and lodge a monthly or quarterly Business Activity Statement without too much additional work, it will be essential that the accounting records of an entity are accurate and up to date. The correct allocation of GST on taxable supplies and acquisitions will be essential for the amount of GST payable or refundable to be calculated and entered onto the BAS.
